Again I try to install a critical windows update and still fails to download the whole file. So I put this tool to the test in VM running Windows 10 14393.0 and this tool downloads and install critical update (KB3176929) fine which brings it update to 14393.10 then I tried Windows 10 14393.3 & 14393.5 in VM and this tool fails to download critical update. It seems Windows Update MiniTool only works for critical updates on Windows 10 with no critical updates on it.

Can anyone tell is it possible to just download updates for Windows XP with WUMT, including the updates for Windows Embedded (POSready)? Also, is it possible to move the update packages to another Windows XP and place them in the same folder, and how would one go about to execute the update from here? Thanks in advance
So, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I'm using a clean install of LTSB N 2016 and the updated version of wumt. Upon my first update, I selected the cumulative update only and began to download however, as the update continued, the size of the update kept growing as I was gone for a while and when I came back it was still growing upwards until almost 9GB. I canceled the download as surely, the update cannot be that large. Anyone else experience this at all? Never had a problem using wumt and 2015 N LTSB
Yeah, my bad. It was kb3176495 and I was getting the common error 0x80070020 with the anniversary update which seems to create a loop of errors. Anyhow, I simply downloaded the stand alone package and manually updated it, so I will check back in the future if any other problems occur, but I'd be safe to say that it was another typical windows rush job that was to blame. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback and of course, the excellent tool!
On Windows 10 LTSB 2016 it is changing BITS & wuauserv services to Automatic(Delayed) and Manual, even though they are both set to Disabled. Bizzare. It doesn't do this on Win 8.1
WU cannot work if wuauserv service is disabled, and BITS is used for downloading the tool is not standalone downloader or checker, it's WU-like
requesting missing basic feature Hi s.u. Nice. However, it is missing this very basic functionality: On the left, would you please add a new section with these check boxes and 1 text entry field: Installation ▢ Start installing immediately after update search ▢ Auto-restart after installation ▢ Delay restart by ▭ seconds Thank you, Bugs PS: would somebody pls translate into Russian and fwd to s.u? Thank you
It doesn't seem to work correctly after the last windows update. Setting updates to disabled, scheduled, automatically, etc has no effect whatsoever. Anyone else noticed the same issue? Win 10 x64 1607 14393.51
Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I would like to use WUMT to disable automatic updates in windows. Even if I set windows updates to be disabled in WUMT, this setting has no effect in Windows. (this setting in wumt used to work).
