    These updates installation errors have absolutely nothing to do with WUMT!
    Of course, writing an error number would simplify the thought.

    By what you are writing I would say you have a f**ked up windows installation with various scripts that circulate on the Internet.
    Here seeking your problem.

    @Mr.X reported many moons ago that "stupid user" was no longer supporting WUMT but evidently he changed his mind...
    @Mr.X maybe you can contact "stupid user" again and get some more info regarding this 07.01.2020 update...

    the 07.01.2020 version of WUMT works with any Win10 version, even with Win10 RTM (1507)

    edit - the 20.12.2016 version is the last one that works with XP, Vista, Win7 & Win8.x
