would be a good idea to have : Winhex cbrom (different versions) necessary slic.bins with '0' checksum This is for isa and ssv1 mods....to my knowledge thanks MY FRIEND 911Medic please more knowledge
Anyone else getting 'Backdoor.Fuwudoor' found in the Phoenix BIOS Editor 2.2.01? I'm using Symantec Endpoint 11.0.780.1109 with up to date defs. Regards, arden
It's a flase positive... I use NIS2007 and the autoprotect reports BIOSEDIT.exe as 'Backdoor.Fuwudoor' . I've put the file in the ignore list and now all is fine...
Does anyone have any idea where to get this kit: InsydeH2O ? (is used to develop some notebooks' BIOS's and maybe useful for Intel BIOS's modding)
If you try ISA mod, Be sure that there is not already an ISA[1] in the bios. You can still add an ISA at this point, but is needs to be ISA[2]
You weren't kidding about more modules! There is already "ISA ROM[1]" in the original BIOS! How can I append "ISA ROM[2]" to the BIOS? It's always shown as "ISA ROM[1]" for the ISA.bin inserted.
