Unfortunately this looks like an unsupported type ? old Intel.

Yes, in both cases (tool created & PBE) all the modules ARE identical (ofcourse), the order is the same, but the ACPI2.MOD location

It seems that the tool has absolutely no problems with inserting SLIC only into plain original Vmware BIOS (and that BIOS works fine!)

    Code:
ROM.LOG - Generated by BIOS Editor

    BIOS.ROM 524288 Bytes (Bank Layout = 512KB x 1)

but if the BIOS is rebuilt with PBE to add SLP string then the tool reports Success, but that created mod BIOS does not start up the VM

Does it have to do with PBE dividing BIOSCOD0.MOD during rebuild with SLP string?

You have renamed the original method to module. Isn't it still the prepare / Catenate method of PBE?

You just would have to pause to allow the SLP modification....maybe I have missed something...

Yes, I CAN select option to allow the modification of any module & do that in hex, but the module will NOT recompress & process fails

Best description is in post #990

Does anyone have a copy of this tested D600_A16_SLIC.EXE enabling SLIC 2.1 on the DELL Latitude D600?
I'm searching but cannot find it.

    Thanks ....

Nobody needs it, I guess. How about DIY? It shouldn't take more than 10 min to do everything.
