@MoKiChU, Thanks! I am on Windows 10 64bit. I was just using the last ASUS-provided drivers for my Maximus VIII Hero from their website that I upgraded to before my last major windows update (before Asus posted a more recent one). It worked with ASIO4ALL for me generating 5.1 audio mixes in Premiere Pro and my other 5.1 playback needs. I do not use my PC as a home theatre source or playing many movies. I just didn't know any better until my 5.1 went away and I started researching. Thanks for sharing the info on my Hero VIII and which driver to use. I will certainly follow the instructions. I do not have all of the items mentioned in the uninstall/install section of the instructions. I only have Realtek High Definition Audio driver and "Asus Sonic Suite Plugin" which I assume yields my current Sonic Suite 2? Am sure this is a stupid question but am I correct that I would fall into the second "update" section and not the "install/uinstall" top section? I think the only thing I used Sonic Studio for was to generate "Fake" 5.1 audio from stereo sources. So I may want Sonic Studio 3 unless virtual mixer (which is new to me) does that now. I am very PC literate but obviously not up to speed on my audio drivers..... Thanks, BJBBJB
Sorry I could not quote, I do not have enough posts to include hyperlinks. I do indeed have an Asus ROG Maximus Hero VIII motherboard and thanks for the Asus forum link. Above you mention SS2/SR2 apps. I assume if I want to install SS3, that I can and should install the Realtek Audio Drivers (HDA - ASUS ROG SSx) drivers? I believe the link there downloads SS3. I understand about vulnerability but it hopefully that gets fixed at some point. You provide great information and it is appreciated. I love my ROG motherboards... Thanks, BJBBJB
hi Mokichu, first of all, thank you for the great job . just to ask if it's 1 link for all motherboards ? rog strix z370-f gaming here.
Hi, Yes, as explained here : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...h-definition-audio.72236/page-74#post-1589904. Indeed you can use/install (at your own risk) unofficial UAD - RTK Generic drivers modded by pal1000, but you can't install NH3/SS3 APO & NH3/SS3 app.
I have an Asus motherboard compatible with " @ UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 ". Could you provide me with the drivers?
Hi, You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF) from my latest update post. Note (in order to choose correctly the install/update process to use) : You have a ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard.
I replaced my motherboard with Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master. Which driver should I install on this motherboard?
Hi, You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - GIGABYTE) from my latest update post. Note (in order to choose correctly the install/update process to use) : You have a GIGABYTE RTK motherboard.
Hi, I posted an official overview a while ago here : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...h-definition-audio.72236/page-70#post-1587265 So, if you are not a streamer or youtuber, you have no interest in installing it.
my laptop is asus tuf gaming with dts, and i did all of the instruction listed on ASUS PRIME/TUF DTS motherboards, but i still canot open the dts headphone x app, it just brought me to the "About DTS Audio" page, how to fix this?
Hi, Please read the requirements at the bottom of each of my update posts : However my UAD drivers package can works on certain ROG/TUF notebooks if the requirements are met and that the processes are followed scrupulously.
